Simply type in ‘ShowTicks’ into your app store, or click here for Android and here for Apple. Take a look at the User Guide to find out more about how the App works.
If you don’t see a button that says, “Get Started”, your phone’s text and/or display size in may be too large. Try decreasing your text/display size in your phone settings and then reopening the App. This is what you should see:
Please make sure the mobile number listed in your online ticketing account matches the mobile number you used to register the Beef Australia ShowTicks App. This includes using the correct country code for overseas users. Australian users do not need to include a country code, however if you do, please make sure it is used correctly.
If you make any changes to your mobile number at any time, you will need to contact us and let us know. For security purposes, changes between platforms are not automatic and need to be manually processed.
Check for updates in your app store or uninstall and reinstall the App to make sure you have the most recent version.
Alternatively, if you have changed your mobile number at any time between the 27th of February when the App launched and now, you will need to email us at tickets@beefaustralia.com.auand log a change of details request.
You will need to use your phone number to register your account on the Beef Australia ShowTicks App to receive your digital tickets. These details can only be registered to one account.
No. There is an inbuilt security feature that does not allow you to log out of the App.
You cannot rename your tickets in the App if you want to keep them on your phone. You will need to transfer them to the other person, who will need to download the App to receive them. You also do not need to name tickets if you are using the Beef Australia ShowTicks App. If you are arriving as a group, one person can carry multiple tickets in their own name, which can be used to allow other people entry.
Find out how to transfer tickets in the User Guide.
You can transfer tickets via the App to anyone with a valid mobile number. If they don’t already have the App, they will receive a text message instructing them to download it and register their mobile number. A person does not need an online ticketing account to receive tickets.
Don't be alarmed! The ticket will still be in transit to that number. All the person has to do is manually download the ShowTicks App via their app store and the ticket will transfer over to their account once they have registered with the phone number you sent it to. If they don't receive it once they register, you may need to cancel the transfer from your end and try again, as there is likely an error in the number you sent it to.
Unfortunately, if someone has already downloaded and registered on the App, you cannot recall tickets after you have transferred them. If you have transferred someone a ticket and they can no longer attend, they will need to transfer it back to you or on to someone else. If the person you have transferred the ticket to does not already have an account on the App, you will be able to cancel the transfer of the ticket. Alternatively, you can contact the Beef Australia team.
You cannot screenshot tickets that have an active QR code and any screenshots taken without a QR code will not be valid for entry.
If you log in to your online ticketing account, you will still be able to view any tickets you have purchased and access your tax receipts/invoices.
Using digital ticketing means we can update the content as we lock in the final details of our Beef2024 events. We’ll do our best to have all the information relevant to your ticketed event available to you in one convenient location!
Allowing notifications means you will be alerted when you purchase or transfer tickets. We can also use App notifications to let you know about changes specific to your event at Beef2024. You can enable notifications in the “Account” tab on the App.
QR Codes won’t be activated until closer to the event. Once they are activated, they will constantly rotate. This is a security feature to protect against the likelihood of fraudulent tickets.
Any tickets that were already activated when you were last online will be accessible offline via the App. If you are unable to access a network between when the tickets are activated and when you attend the event, staff will have a QR code available that you can use to manually activate your ticket/s.
If you try to “Edit User Details” in the App, you will be directed to a form to contact us. Submit any changes you would like made, and we will process them if they are possible.
No. Tickets will be linked to the phone number you originally registered with the App. You will need to contact us to have your tickets transferred after you have updated your details in your online ticketing account.
A request to delete your account will be sent to the App provider. If you have done this in error, contact us in writing to cancel the request. This process may take up to a week.
Yes. You need to make sure the mobile number listed in your online ticketing account includes your country code. If you have made any changes to your mobile number since the 27th of February, please contact us to let us know. Please note, any changes you make may take up to a week to process across platforms.
Beef Australia encourage everyone to use digital tickets via the ShowTicks App to scan and gain express entry to the event and support environmentally friendly practices. For security reasons, you cannot print tickets from the App.
E-Tickets will not be made available for download from your Account Area until closer to the event. If you do not have access to a smart phone, when this feature is made available, you will be able to download and print your E-tickets on your home printer in black and white or colour, on standard A4 paper. Please ensure that the barcode has printed correctly, otherwise we might be unable to scan your ticket correctly at the gate. Once printed, please read the terms and conditions.
Digital tickets are available on the Beef Australia ShowTicks App and will need to be presented on a mobile device to be scanned into Beef2024.
e-tickets are PDF tickets that you will be able to print or email from your online ticketing account closer to the event. These will need to be renamed so that they can be presented with photo ID when scanning into Beef2024.
